'Please Take It Personally!' was a workshop open to photography enthusiasts of all levels, focusing on personal photography—a practice that has become increasingly prominent in contemporary photography over the past three to four decades, with photographers turning their cameras towards their own lives. Participants developed short projects drawing on their homes, workplaces or schools, families, friends, and the places they live.
Led by GAPO and hosted by Ka Atölye, the first session took place on 14–15 February. It included an examination of work produced within this genre, portfolio reviews, and discussions of the mini-projects participants planned to develop during the workshop. Participants then received feedback from the workshop tutors throughout the production process. At the second session, held on 4–5 April, they presented their completed mini-projects in a small exhibition at Ka following a short preparation period.
