Works by eight photographers selected from the first three editions of 'Young Talents', a project launched by Geniş Açı Photography Magazine in 2001, were presented under the title 'Young Photography from Turkey' at the National Centre for Contemporary Photography in St Petersburg, Russia. Organised in collaboration between Geniş Açı and the National Centre for Contemporary Photography, the exhibition featured Kerem Uzel from the first edition of 'Young Talents' in 2001; Ali Taptık, Melisa Önel, Serkan Taycan, Gökhan Gezik, and Sebla Selin Ok from the second edition in 2004; and Aylin Dinçel and Zeynep Kayan from the third edition in 2005.

While Ali Taptık and Serkan Taycan presented new projects in the exhibition, the other photographers were represented by works originally produced and presented as part of 'Young Talents'.
